Clock/Timer

The clock/timer is a digital clock.  It displays Local time or Greenwich mean time (GMT) n 24 hour military style.  This is the time normally used in aviation since flights often cross many time zones.  In addition to being a clock, this instrument is a digital stopwatch that can be used to time events.  Stopwatch timing is used in instrument flight to time the legs of holding patterns and to time some types of instrument approaches.
